Amazingly Fast Workout


AnnaLynne McCord, demonstrates on celebritydietdoctor.com an eight-minute total-body workout from Barry’s Bootcamp in Los Angeles. She said, “My schedule can be so hectic that a fun, short workout is perfect for me!” According to Barry’s Bootcamp if you do the workout four times a week you will build lean muscle mass because of the short burst of moves that are changing every 30 seconds to a minute. Here are a few highlights of the workout:

- Lunge and Curl with 5-10 pound weights for one minute

- Leaping Lunges for one minute

- Tricep Kick Backs with 5-10 pound weights 30 seconds each arm

- Knee Drive, 30 seconds each leg

- Squat Presses with weights for one minute

- Plank Row with weights, one minute each arm (This one is a challenge!)

- Running Plank for one minute

- Jump Squat for one minute (This one burns lots of calories.)

The Demi Plie works the butt and calves and is pretty easy: no chairs involved, no jumping around, no overly-complicated techniques. The best part is that you can do it anywhere, as long as you are not wearing a tight skirt, and are in a comfortable, supportive pair of shoes. To pull off your Demi Plie, stand with your heels together, with your toes turned out to the sides about 45 degrees. Keep your hands on your hips as you go through the movement.

As you bend your knees slightly to go into a small dip, rise onto your toes, lifting heels off of the floor. Get ready to do 15 reps after holding five seconds and then lowering. Try this along with the rest of Fitness's 15-Minute Butt Boot Camp for an awesome workout!
