Constipation’s Natural Remedies

Constipation is a condition of the digestive system in which a person experiences hard feces that are difficult to expel. Defecation is often painful and in severe cases may lead to symptoms of bowel obstruction or a cancer disease related to the digestive system known as colon cancer. Constipation is a symptom, not a disease. Almost everyone experiences constipation at some point in their life, and a poor diet typically is the cause. Most constipation is temporary and not serious. Understanding its causes, prevention, and treatment will help most people find relief. Constipation usually happens because the colon has absorbed too much water from the food due to the lack of water-holding capacity of the bowel’s contents. If the food moves through the gastrointestinal tract too slowly, the colon may absorb too much water, resulting in feces that are dry and hard as also mentioned in www.ifoundthecure.com

The various causes of constipation are:

• Low fiber diet
• Low intake of fluids
• Some particular diseases like hyperacidity, diabetes, colitis, sluggish liver and tumors
• Weak abdominal muscles
• Holding back stools when in pressure
• Irregular meals
• Incomplete chewing of food
• High intake of refined foods
• A side effect of medical supplements

You can increase your good bacteria with a good probiotic health supplement much faster than with foods. Magnesium nutritional supplements help with intestinal motility and helps move things along, and many of us today are deficient in this health supplement.

B5 vitamins supplements establish a more consistent action of the intestinal walls, and C vitamin supplements by moving things along more quickly. Natural Remedies for Constipation

constipationWhat is Constipation?

In a healthy body waste moves through the digestive tract in a timely matter, which usually takes between six and twenty-four hours. But, when waste material passes through the digestive tract too slowly, the result is constipation. When you are constipated you may even lose the urge to pass stools. This may sound a little excessive, but in the Natural Medicine world we feel that a healthy person should have one to three complete bowel movements a day. Ideally, you should have a bowel movement for every meal you eat.

Who Gets Constipated?

It is estimated that more than four million Americans experience frequent constipation. This is determined by the 2.5 million physician visits a year, with complaints of constipation. Women and adults ages 65 and older account for most cases of constipation. Pregnant women tend to have constipation, and it is a common problem following childbirth or surgery. Anyone can get constipated, and most people have experienced constipation at one point or another.

What are the Symptoms of Constipation?

Sometimes the symptoms of constipation can merely be having hard stools. Other symptoms are; difficulty passing stools, having a tender and bloated abdomen, a decreased frequency of bowel movements, loss of appetite, malaise, and flatulence.

What are the Root Causes of Constipation?

A diet low in fiber, and healthy foods in the most common root cause of constipation. Inactivity, stress, and intestinal parasite can also be culprits of constipation.

Many medications can cause constipation. The medications that most commonly cause constipation are pain killers such as; Lortab, Morphine, and Vicodin. Colitis, a lack on intestinal flora, liver problems, an underactive thyroid, and a magnesium deficiency are also root cause. Another big problem with constipation, happens when people abuse laxative, and enema to help with their elimination. This causes the body to rely on these methods to keep regular, and often times this causes a whole host of problems.

Fat slows down the journey through the intestines. If you have sever constipation see the Colon Cleanse Section, and do a colon cleanse.

You can try mixing the flaxseed oil into yogurt, or put it on cereal for kids. The taste isn’t strong, the flavor kind of reminds me of green tea in a way.
Probiotic Probiotic- Take a good probiotic as directed on the label, which would be one that has at least 4 billion active organisms daily. The friendly bacteria found in probiotics helps to aid digestion, and elimination.
PsylliumPsyllium- Take 1 teaspoon of 5 grams of psyllium husks as directed on the label. Psyllium acts as a bulk forming laxative.

Courteney Cox Still Looks Like a Model

Courteney-Cox-Arquette

Courteney Cox has just started working at yet another TV series,  ABC's  “Cougar Town”. She may be older than she was in “Friends”, but the ex-model is still drop-dead beautiful. Once on the cover of People magazine’s Most Beautiful People issue, the 44-year-old actress realizes, as all celebrities over 40, that she needs to work harder to look good on the red carpet. Want to find out her secret that keep her looking as fit as a model? Keep reading this article. Visit http://www.howcelebritiesloseweight.com to know how Courtney is able to maintain her sexy figure.

Put the "D" in Diets

Courteney Cox has always been more slim than fit, but now it seems she’s mostly trying to eat healthy and keep her body weight at a certain level. She’s known to have been on a lot of diets according to ukhairdressers.com: Blood Type, Atkins, Carbohydrate Addict, etc. The last one was the most efficient of all for Courteney and the actress liked it because she could eat carbohydrates for dinner.

Courteney Cox says her secret for staying 110lb with a height of 5ft 5in is: "I know what to eat and I know how to eat. If I eat pasta for dinner, I gain weight, if I eat protein, I lose weight. Everyone says I am too thin. I just have a fast metabolism."

As a Southern girl, Courteney Cox grew up eating a carbs and fat-rich diet, she has adapted her regime so that it's close to the Carbohydrate Addict's Diet, devised by Dr Richard Heller and his wife Dr Rachel Heller on inoutstar.com.

Courteney-CoxFollowers of the Carbohydrate Addict's Diet can eat meat, seafood, butter, eggs, cheese and vegetables, but restrict carbohydrates to one "reward" meal a day. The Hellers say: "Balance is crucial in your reward meal. You need salad for fibre, protein for minerals and to stabilize blood sugar. The carbs are for energy and satisfaction." Here you have a daily menu sample:

Breakfast: A scooped out poppy seed bagel with light cream cheese.

Lunch: Pasta.

Dinner: Salad.

Courteney Cox starts her day with scrambled eggs, a splash of milk and two strips of lean bacon or pancakes filled with cottage cheese. For lunch, she eats grilled salmon or steak, with steamed vegetables, or a green salad. Dinner also includes dessert or fruits. Most of the times, she eats roast lamb and veggies or roast potatoes. She avoids sodas or sugary drinks, but instead she drinks a lot of tea and black coffee. This is the diet Courteney Cox is addicted to and, with plenty of exercise, it keeps her healthy and fit.

What about fitness and exercise?

Courteney Cox works out five times a week and that includes cardio, weight training, hiking, and running. The actress also practices Pilates and Budokon, the new hot stuff in Hollywood celebrity’s agenda. Courteney says about this great workout routine: "Cameron Shayne's blend of yoga for toning and martial arts for power is an unbeatable combination. I have found a workout that's fun and effective!"

What is Budokon?

Budokon is a physically challenging fitness regime with aspects of yoga and meditation. Budokon is designed to “create balance and permanent change in the entire system,” according to Cameron Shayne, the founder of the system. Budokon is influenced by the Japanese martial arts - the name budokon can be translated as “the way of the spiritual warrior” - bu (warrior) - do (way) - kon (spirit).

Courteney-Cox-38Budokan is very intensive - it is not uncommon for people to burn up to 900 calories in a session, which is 50% more than a spinning session. And unlike spinning classes, Budokan is dynamic, exciting and far more socialable, like many other martial arts.

Every class involves three disciplines: meditation, martial arts and yoga. The order varies depending on the day, as Ryan believes in working with the mood of the class. This is actually how all good martial arts instructors teach. A class can be planned, but the students’ needs can change from week to week, and a flexible teacher makes a more engaging class. It is inspired by the centuries-old training systems of Buddhist monks and it offers an emotional, physical and spiritual work out. Really Budokon has a very similar philosophy to Tai Chi Chuan and Bagua.

Budokon has not only impressed celebrities, but also professional athletes, including Kerri Walsh, who won an Olympic gold in women’s beach volleyball.

A Budokon warm up is again similar to a martial arts warm up - the joints are loosened and stretched - this helps prevent injury. Then a series of yoga postures, often incorporating elements of the sun salutation routine, are done to help warm the body up.

Budokon has gradings, like many other martial arts, so students can progress. The main thing that makes martial arts such a good way to get fit is that the grading system keeps students motivated and competitive. Healthy competition is essential to avoid becoming bored with a fitness regime.

Budokon has recently started to become more popular in the UK, and Cameron Shayne is aiming for it to become a leading fitness regime in the Britain. “I’d like to see British cities becoming thriving hubs for Budokon. My sense is a lot of people in the UK are like: get up, go to work, go to pub, go home, then get up and do it all again. There’s so much more to life.”

Kate Beckinsale Weight Loss Programs

kate-beckinsale-diet-coke-sKathryn Bailey "Kate" Beckinsale (born 26 July 1973) is an English actress. Her best known films include Serendipity (1999), Pearl Harbor (2001), Underworld (2003), Van Helsing (2004), Underworld: Evolution (2006) and Click (2006). She is also starting in Whiteout (2009). Kate Beckinsale has been looking great for quite few years. Read on to see how she is able to keep that great figure year in year out. Visit http://www.howcelebritiesloseweight.com to find out how she managed to loose those extra pounds.

Diets

Although she has admitted to suffering from bulimia in her teens, she did change her eating habits and she has been able to eat healthy, for the most part. She allows herself a sweet treat once in a while. She loves cupcakes. Kate Beckinsale does not follow the latest "weight loss program", or the latest "diet plan", she does eat healthy and exercises regularly.

Posing in a very sexy photo-shoot for the December 2008 issue of British Elle magazine, Kate Beckinsale opened up about Hollywood’s obsession with size, her body image, current diet and exercise habits.

“I’m amazed that people obsess over my body image so much. Why do we encourage this war on women’s bodies? It’s a horrendous way to live, and I refuse to.” Kate, who stars in the upcoming drama “Nothing But the Truth“, says she now has a much healthier view of her body, which she once described as ‘a twig with a bum and small breasts’. “I’m entirely normal. I have my good days and my bad days. I am a lot more body confident now I’m in my thirties, and am in better shape, too.”

kate-beckinsale-elle-1“I didn’t have a clue about healthy eating when I was in my twenties – I’d eat a small breakfast and lunch and then have a baked potato for dinner and feel really horrible. Now my typical daily diet is eggs or oatmeal for breakfast, a chicken or vegetable wrap for lunch, then fish and vegetables for dinner. But if someone turns up with cupcakes mid-afternoon, I’ll have one. I’m not aiming to be Gisele. And I’d hate to be one of those people who won’t allow themselves a slice of birthday cake.”

According to Star, Kate Beckinsale loves green tea. She downs up to 12 cups a day of green tea laced with the herb Coleus Forskohlii, which she says cures her insomnia. Kate Beckinsale’s diets “Kate isn’t into fad diets, but she does believe in the powers of green tea and herbs,” says a source. “She says her concoction speeds up her metabolism, keeps her at peace and stops her from craving sweets.” The 34-year-old Kate starts each morning with four cups. Yep, she is a crazy tea bag lady.

Fitness for Kate Beckinsale

Kate Beckinsale also confessed that she hates exercising in public, and that is why she has her own gym in her garage at home and many different exercise machines. She did not specify if she has a fitness trainer or a specific fitness exercise program. She has been seeing every so often either hiking or walking, outside, in beautiful Los Angeles.

Bar Refaeli keeps to the basics!

bar_refaeli_si_swimsuit_issue
What do super models do to prepare for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue photo shoot? For current cover model Bar Rafaeli, it was cake. Literally. The 21-year-old Israeli supermodel admits she ate whatever she wanted and didn’t do any special workout to prepare for the shoot.

“They tell you ‘you better not go on a diet before the shoot’. Girls tend to think, ‘Oh my God, I have to be in swimwear, I have to look amazing’. They just say, ‘You better not, girl!’ And they just let you eat all the time during the photo shoot. They love that; they love their girls healthy,” said Rafaeli.

When asked about her typical regimen, her answer was simple, “exercise and eat right.”

bar-refaeli-2
Her fitness routine includes horseback riding, which she has done since she was a little girl. Horseback riding can actually be quite a trying sport (burn about 400 calories/hour), and is good for toning the core and creating good posture, as well as working the back, thighs, calves, and abs. She’s no stranger to working in the stables on her family’s farm either, which benefits the arms, shoulders and back.

To keep those long legs (she’s 5' 8?) in kicking shape, Rafaeli kicks. She and her trainer work on martial arts and Krav Maga, a hand-to-hand combat style of defense developed in Israel.

There is one bad habit that Bar Rafaeli has. She smokes! She tries not to smoke in public but it is one bad habit that she cannot kick. We hope she will soon!
